Thing 11: Planning and Designing Your iPad Lesson

**Please note that this assignment has a deadline which must be met in order to receive credit for this post.**

We have spent quite a bit of time exploring the apps, tools, and features available to you in the Alief ISD iPad Project.  The next step is to begin to develop your own original iPad lesson.  For this activity your will create your own iPad lesson using 3-4 of the tools and features explored in Things 3-9.

Assignment:

Plan and design your iPad integration lesson.  In your "Thing 11" blog post, describe the lesson in detail. Make sure that anyone who reads your lesson plan will be able to decipher what your students are learning, how they will prove what they have learned, and how their work will be assessed.  If you are using any rubrics to evaluate student work, please include the rubric in your blog post.  Make sure in your lesson description you address the issue of workflow; how will your students submit their work for grading and/or evaluation?

Be sure to include:
  • TEKS covered/addressed
  • Lesson objective
  • Materials and/or Resources

**This blog post must be completed by June 27, 2014  at  10pm CST  in order to give the other class participants enough time to review your lesson plan before submitting their feedback.**
