Now you have had a chance to write your first lesson, and you should have a better understanding of what goes into planning and designing a meaningful lesson integrating the use of the iPads.  Studies show that as educators, we learn and grow from others in our field.  For this activity you will learn and grow from the other participants in this professional development course.  This is your chance to review other lessons written by your peers and offer meaningful and specific feedback.

To find the URLs of your peers’ blogs, click on one of the links on the right hand side of this page.  Each participant is listed by name, and their blog is listed and hyperlinked on the page.

Assignment:

**For this assignment, you will complete the process below twice!**

1. Choose a classmate from the Blog Participant List (right toolbar).
2. Read their "Thing 11" post which outlines their iPad integration lesson.
3. Evaluate their lesson based on the following criteria:
  • How well were the tools integrated throughout the lesson?
  • Are the students doing the majority of the learning and creating?
  • How will the lesson be evaluated?
  • How will the students submit their work for evaluation?
Leave a comment on their post which discusses the following:
  • List 2-3 positive points from their lesson.
  • Are there any ways this lesson can be improved? (think about rigor, relevance, differentiation, accessibility, etc.)
  • Are there any support staff (content specialists, campus library information specialist, instructional technology specialists) that may be helpful to assist with the lesson?
For your Thing 12 post on your blog, please just list the names of the two people who's lesson you evaluated.

**You must leave comments for two different classmates to receive credit for this assignment.**
